The crowd-funding campaign was a success!
KickstarterThis new update greatly improves the graphics of Dragon Banner, adding shadows and new shading effects! Buildings and terrain now cast shadows! This has a big effect on the look of the game, really improving the quality of every level.
Shadows can be turned off or on in the Options menu. If you find your computer has trouble running the game at a steady frame rate, try turning off shadows to improve performance.
Characters and Equipment in the game are now rendered with an enhanced cell shading technique, helping the visuals pop with more detailed shading and contrast.
Hi! Thanks for following Dragon Banner. The full game release is coming on May 8th! But in the meantime, development continues, work on new features and improvements for you, the players!
The first update includes a tutorial, a graphics improvement, and new options to support a range of computers with different graphics powers. I want everyone to be able to play the game at a decent frame rate.
